For the past five seasons, the Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League has been paying for flights and accommodation for visiting teams that play the SP PNG Hunters at the Oil Search National Football Stadium.

Earlier this week, the PNGRFL signed on a new accommodation partnership that will ensure visiting teams are well looked after in PNG.

Pretty high-class, PNGRFL’s accommodation choice for visiting Intrust Super Cup teams during the SP PNG Hunters’ home games – PNGRFL and Airways making it official, and signing off on the paperwork, the PNGRFL locking in Airways as their accommodation partner for this year.

The PNGRFL have a participation agreement to provide accommodation and pay for tickets for teams and QRL officials at every home game.

It’s a costly exercise, but achievable through partnership.

Airways Operations Manager Manu Bajaj is confident that the experience will show the high level of hospitality that PNG has to offer its guests.

For PNGRFL, it’s all about sticking to the participation agreement and improving the standard that the League continues to set.

Good News for the players, the facilities at Airways will be complementary, and rest assured, will be greatly appreciated, by the Queensland teams.
