PNG NRL Foundation expands to Enga and Simbu

ThPNG NRL Foundation aims to reach out to school students’in Enga and Simbu this year to futher develop junior Rugby League, and preferably Manus inthe Niugini Islands and Western inthe Southern zone.

The schools junior program has so far reached up to three hundred thousand kids nation-wide.

ThPNG NRL Foundation’s schools junior rugby league program has provern to be a hit amongst young rugby enthusiasts inthe country.

Foundation CEO Bead Tassel confirmed thatthe Schools program will start inthe second term of Schools Holidays next month.

Nation-wide vehicle distributor Beroko Motors has made its way on board with four land rover defenders to assistthe Foundations’ work.

Beroko Motors General Manager Shane Beyce saidthe sponsorship ofthe foundation is inthe best interest of Rugby League creating a pathway of Excellency to shaping young talent.

The vehicles are an important part ofthe Foundation’s logistics and three will be shipped out to Kokopo, Goroka and Lae to boostthe work ofthe Foundation in allthe four zones.
