PNG Palais Train-on Squad Fight for Spot

PNG Palais train-on squad showcased a thrilling but grueling performance overthe weekend underthe scorching heat at Beva Park to impressthe coaches to book a spot for the Noosa Tour andthe Shangai Seven Championships.

The team has competed and setthe pace inthe international champs and this championship is no exception; however,they will need to liftthe fight for anther day to setthe pace inthe code itself.   

 

PNG Palais isthe only women’s rugby union team that breeds women into national union stars.

 

Kymlie Rapila is one ofthe keen fullbacks who have confidently ledthe pack in some international championships. Her determination and discipline proverd her worth on field. She is brilliant with ball possession and tackles to deservethe captainship. She knows what is expected ahead and puts her head down to mean business.    

 

This is a hurdlethese women need to overcome to wearthe Palais outfit inthe Oceania championship in Gold CoastoAustralia. 

 

They were grouped into three teams and played against each ther underthe watching eyes of Coaches John Larry and Cecil Davani.

 

The trial included three months training and a week in camp.
