PNG Kumuls in Training for PM’s XIII

The PNG Kumuls are in full training at the Port Moresby International School and the High Performance Training Centre, preparing for the Prime Minister’s XIII this weekend.

Most of the players were selected from the Digicel Cup Competition.

PNGRFL selectors have trusted the local guys given the opportunity they will give their effort to play to the best of their ability this weekend.

Coach Stanley said with the short frame of time the team is working on their defensive structure and game plan the players will have a huge task to committee themselves.

He said there won’t be any overseas players involved in the Kumuls team or the Hunters this is an opportunity now for the local guys.

The final 17 have not been selected yet but with the trials this afternoon they will select the final players, as well as naming the team captain.
