PNG HR Institute awards its best practitioners

ThPNG Human ResourceInstitute says sustainable human capital is its mission statement.

This professional body yesterday awarded its best practitioners in a ceremony held atthe Grand Papua Hotel in Port Moresby.

The awards were presented inthe categories of Best Public Service Entity, Best State own enterprise, Best Private Sector Employer, Best HR Manager and Top UPNG HR student.

Bank oPNGPNG Ports Corporation Limited, City Pharmacy werethe recipients ofthe organizational awards while Mula Ninihili-vui and Meiari Pero tookthe individual awards.

PNGHRI President Jerry Wemin said for an organization to achieve its goalsthere must be integrated human development.

Minister for Finance James Marape’said human resource is a vital component for any organization.

Minister Marape’stressed that proper management and accountability must bethe standard for all mangers.
