PNG Football Association will host a FIFA Womenrsquo;s Football Festival on Friday atthe Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.
This is to create awareness and empower women of all ages to participate in Football.
Girls and women inthe country have improverdtheir standards since inclusion of females participating inthe code.
FIFA and Oceania Football Confederation in partnership withthPNG Football Association is improving women’s football with plans to implement ways women could excel inthe game to be competitive inthe international scene.
The focus ofthe program is to promote women’s football and encouragethem to take up football as players, referees, coaches and administrators.
Meantime, boys are encouraged to come along and support women’s call for gender equality.
