The Barramundis have also been consistent performers, showing the rest of the world that PNG has potential to be a threat to top cricketing countries.

Following their successful performance at the East Asia Pacific Qualifiers in Samoa, the Lewas are preparing to go better in their upcoming international competitions.

In recent years, the rise of the PNG CPL Lewa’s has not gone unnoticed, with the team continuing to prove they are a force to be reckoned with at international competitions.

The Lewas now have their focus on qualifying for the Women’s World Cup, which will be a milestone for cricket PNG, if achieved.
