His painting of “Trish”, a woman fromthe Kambot village in East Sepik onthe fringes ofthe mighty Sepik river wasthe spark of inspiration for a musical play entitled “Fether” which Jeffrey will feature in New York from July 8th to 28th .
Fether is a multimedia story which transitions betweenthe stage and screen. Feeger playsthe role of an omniceinet painter, capturingthe unfolding narrative with spoken poetry andthe rhythmetic strokes of his brush.
He will collaborate with a number of talents from Australia andthe United states. Last night a colorful auction was held to help raise funds for the trip.
