PNC eyes Angoram seat

The ruling People’s National Congress in government is eyeing anther seat in Angoram of East Sepik Province.

LLeadersofthe Party and Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill went tothe electorate on Monday to campaign for Samson Torovi,the former Administrator ofthe Province inthe by-election.

 

Mr. O’Neill addressed about 3,000 people in Angoram and anther 1,000 at Murik Lake, urgingthem to vote someone who will work closely withthe government to deliver services.

 

PNC has on MP from that Province; he is Richard Maru Member for Yangoru-Saussia and Minister for Commerce, Trade andIndustry.

 

The by-election which begins this Saturday followsthe death of Ludwig Schulze, a member ofthe National Alliance Party.
