Work onthe Madang MarineIndustrial Park project will now progress afterthe withdrawal of a court case by plaintiffs in Madang.
Minister for Trade, Commerce &Industry Richard Maru’said he received a letter on Thursday fromthe lawyers informing him ofthe formal withdrawal ofthe case.
Maru’said this now pavesthe way for the development oftheIndustrial Park. He and Secretary John Andrias are expected to travel to Madang next week to meet with impact communities.
