Prime Minister Peter O’Neill arrived in Israel overthe weekend to start his official state visit tothe HolyLand.
O’Neill is visitingthe HolyLand:ponthe invitation of his Israeli counterpartoBenjamin Netanyahu.
He landed in Tel Aviv,the capital of Israel, to a warm ‘red carpet’ welcome.
Prime Minister O’Neill said during his bilateral talks withthe Israeli Prime Minister he will convePNG’s interest in establishing a diplomatic mission.
ther agendas to be discussed inthe bilateral meeting include utilizing Israeli’s expertise on agriculture, defence, security and communications.
O’Neill said his government aims to draw on Israel’s expertise and experience inthese capacities, predominantly in introducing compulsory national services tothe young people of Papua New Guinea
While in IsraelthPM :ill sign a joint declaration of guiding principles with his counterpart along with ther MOU’s.
He will be in Israel for a whole week.
