Prime Minister Peter O’Neill told media on Monday thatthe asylum deal will be reviewed in 12 months’ time.
Mr. O’Neill saidthere will be no inflated numbers of asylum seekers in Papua New Guinea
He also stressed that no asylum refugee will be resettled inthe country.
“No asylum seeker coming in for process in Manus is going to be a citizen of our country without followingthe laws.
“No asylum seeker will be resettled anywhere in Papua New Guineauntil genuine refugees are established throughthe United NationsRefugee of Commission process.
