Rimbink Pato, newly elected member for Wapenamanda and leader of United Party, is calling on elected Independent candidates to join his party.
A lawyer by profession who has practiced in his lawfirm for more than 20 years, Mr. Pato beleives that the wealth of the nation should be enjoyed by all citizens of Papua New Guinea.
He said that he stands on a platform of transparent delivery of services and that it is important to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law.
Mr. Pato, who has already started forming alliances with allies of Peter O'Neil's political party, says that he hopes to be a aprt of the Government when it is formed.
