Parliament Women Mothers Day

It’s a time when all mthers should puttheir burdens aside and embracetheir role withintheir families, communities andthe country, Mthers’ Day

MOTHER’S DAY – A time to acknowledgethe hard work, lover and care that mthers so often give without hesitation.

Forthese working mthers atthe National Parliamentoit was an early celebration given thatthey all won’t be togther onthe actual Daywhich falls onthe second Sunday of May every year.

There was lots of food, drinks, dance and music to setthe pace for the big day and it was time to brush allthe work aside and put ontheir dancing shoes.

A surprise invitation was sent out to Sohe MP Delilah Gore to join inthe fun.

Eta Asea, Senior Emoluments Officer ofthe National Parliament saysthe women have taken it up onthemselves to marktheir special day for the past six years.

It’s not allthe timethese hardworking women get to lettheir hair down, puttheir feet up and givethemselves a treat and Mthers’ day is an ideal way to just that.
