The manufacturers of SNAX and Em Nau biscuits now have competition with the launch of Panamex Pacific PNG Limited’s new product, "Raun Raun" flavoured biscuits.
Already launched in Lae and Kimbe, this new set of flavoured biscuits targets the grassroots market.
The brainchild of Elsie Mangor, marketing manager of Panamex Pacific, this new brand of biscuits is targeted at Papua New Guineans in rural communities, especially children.
Panamex Pacific staff launched their new product, the first of the company’s move to the food category after its main products, Softlove diapers, Sudso laundry powder and Waswas soap.
The product was launched throughout Port Moresby with many saying this product is much tastier than other biscuits.
Regional Sales Manager Sumith Wickramanayake said the product is made for Papua New Guineans and is a step for the company to branch out in its’ line of products.
This new brand of biscuits comes in four flavours and can be bought in all shops throughout the country.
