Jacksons International Airport, this afternoon, saw more arrivals of teams, participating in the Pacific Games.
They included the Va’a team from Cook Islands, basketballers from American Samoa, and the Australian weightlifting squad.
The first team to arrive were the Australians, their weightlifting team, participating in the Pacific Games for the first time and creating history in itself.
Followed soon after by American Samoa, and their tall lanky basketball players, assistant coach Deihl Langkilde confident in his teams approach to these Pacific games.
And finally the cook islanders, their contingent, stunning in their traditional head dress, the Va’a team excited to be in Port Moresby.
