Ottio Positive

PNG international Rugby League player, Kato Ottio, will be out for half the year next season, due to a knee injury.

With the Rugby League World Cup to be played a few months after his recovery, he has set his goal on working hard to make the Kumuls World Cup team.

He says he will work on his rehabilitation, and hopefully recover in time to get back on the field with the team.

Ottio’s selection into the Kumuls World Cup team will be difficult, having have had to work extra hard in a short period of time, to make the team.

He says he is more concentrated on getting his knee fixed, than thinking about the World Cup.

His two year contract with the Mounties will end next year, but Ottio remains positive he will be given a new contract.

He also congratulated SP Hunters centre, Justin Olam, on his selection to the Melbourne Storm.
