Preparations are underway to hostthe inaugural Oro Tapa and Tattoo festival onthe 16th tothe 17th of Novermber.
The submission to make this an annual event for the provincial government is now beforethe Provincial Executive Council.
The idea is to harnessthe tourism potential ofthe province and to promotethe culture.
Patron ofthe Festival, Governor Gary Juffa, has pledged K100, 000 for the event.
A Corporate Dinner will be held onthe 9th of Novermber in Port Moresby to fundraise for the event.
