A young man is advocating for the plight of people living with disability inthe Nothern Province.
Nick Kuvida has establishedthe Oro Disable FoundationInc. to assist those living with disability.
The twenty-nine year old is also a person living with disability, but who has reached out to make a difference. His positive outlook on life surpasses his disability.
The lack of support from lLeadersandthe community towardsthe plight of people living with disability, led him to establishthe Oro Disable Foundation in 2012.
The foundation’s primary aim is to provide opportunity for people living with disability.
Nick says, most people living with disabilities are marginalized inthe province.
There is no rehabilitation centre inthe province, and wheel chairs are hard to come by.
Nick has soughtthe support ofthe governor Gary Juffa to drive his initiative.
He hopesthe foundation will be a vehicle for change and will assist people living with disabilities to contribute meaningfully tothe development ofthe province.
