We feature the 2018 NCD Grade 12 Student Career Expo and the street painters/artists.
For the expo, we talk to teachers, students and institutions that were present at the expo about how they see this expo as a beneficial event for students in making their decisions on the Student Leaver Forms (SLFs). This is the time when students have a close encounter with institutions which they are interested to apply to after completing their year 12 and start their tertiary education journey.
We also spoke to some painters who sell their paintings on streets in Port Moresby. They expressed frustrations that they see their paintings as contributing to the tourism industry in PNG yet do not have proper venues to sell their paintings. They are calling on the Tourism Promotion Authority to look into this and help.
