We feature the launching of Community Based Development Risk Management (CBDRM) plans in Oro Province.
These are community plans developed by the people with help from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and other organizations.
This CBDRM planning empowers communities to actively participate in disaster risk reduction and interventions that are relevant and applicable to them in their local settings.
Three communities in Popondetta launched their plans and are now looking forward to the implementation phase.
