Ok Tedi landowners against mine extension

Ok Tedi landowners ofthe Western Province do not wantthe mine life to continue, until issues affectingthe communities ofthe Community Mine Continuation Agreement are sorted out.

President ofthe Ok Tedi landowner umbrella association said he supportsthe stand by Prime Minister Peter O’Neill not to be pushed into extendingthe mine life of Ok Tedi Mine into 2025 untilthe people’s concerns are resolved.
