Oil Search is preparing to drill Hagana One, located offshore inthe Gulf of Papua, 260 kilometres north – west of Port Moresby.
Hagana One will bethe second well in Oil Search’s off-shore drilling campaign.
This followsthe successful drilling at Flinders One Well, which has recently discovered gas inthe target Pliocene reservoir.
Oil Search’s drilling campaign is supported by Joint Venture Partner French multi – national Total SA and Nippon Oil Exploration (Niugini) Limited.
