Prime Minister Peter O’Neill’s visit to Japan this week is highly anticipated bythe Japanese Government.
Ambassador of Japan tPNG, Hiroharu Iwasaki said this while paying a courtesy call onthe Prime Minister at his Parliament office last Friday.
Prime Minister O’Neill thankedthe government of Japan for its continued assistance and bilateral ties since 1975 and said he looked forward to meeting his Japanese counterpart.
A high level delegation including media is expected to travel withthe Prime Minister to Japan next week.
