Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has extended congratulations on behalf of the PNG Government to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, on his electoral victory, for a second term.
Mr O’Neill said that as the home of the Westminster system of parliamentary democracy, general elections in the United Kingdom are closely followed in Commonwealth nations.
The Prime Minister is looking forward to meeting with Prime Minister Cameron and building on bilateral relationship, and ongoing cooperation in a number of multilateral forums.
