NSL Game Regulations

By Dion Kombeng – EM TV Sports, Port Moresby

National Soccer League officials have called for club supporters to play their part by supporting their clubs in the true nature of sport.

NSL competition sub-committee chairman, Joseph Ealedona, said they have received complaints that supporters in Madang have been using slingshots to disturb players on field.

Ealedona said that these allegations are a serious matter, and if more reports as such are received, it will force a response from the board to see Madang lose hosting rights in the township.

The safety of the players is of high importance and with complaints of supporters disturbing players with slingshots can cause great harm to the players.

The competition is currently on a festive break for two weeks, and with the competition set to commence in January.

Next year, NSL has big plans for the competition and they want to start the new year on a positive note.
