NSL Double Header

The champions, Hekari United, went up against Admiralty FC in a one-on-one encounter.

Admiralty was out to work, hard at the backline by Hekari’s forward Tanito Tutizama and Tommy Sammy.

With Brilliant crosses set plays from the midfield, Hekari tested Admiralty’s defense over and over again.

Admiralty, however, did maintain their composure throughout the early stages of the game but Hekari managed to find way through striker, Tommy Sammy, to score the first points of the match going into the half time break.

The second half saw Hekari, keeping the control in the midfield and creating chances upfront.  Hekari with one-two touches upfront, put Tommy Sammy clear out on the wing before setting up a wonderful cross for Manu Eric to put their second points on the board.

Admiralty fought back with their captain, Michael Foster, testing Hekari’s goal mouth, but minutes before a final move by Tommy Sammy when he fired a stunner to seal the game in a 3 goal win over Admiralty.

In the second game between Oro and Besta, Oro gave the young Besta side a fair run for their money.

The young Besta was desperate to secure a win and played a more attacking style of football. Besta, however, did conceive a number of penalties in the first half and kept the pressure on Oro and went into the half-time break nil-all.

Besta’s defense in the second half was questioned by Oro strikers before the deadlock was broken by Maxwell Mandi in a controversial penalty kick in then box. Then minutes later a goal again by Oro seal the game in a 2 nil win in favor of Oro FC.
