Higher Education Minister and Imbongu MP Pila Niningi is calling on the Opposition to do check and balance in the latest APEC ‘ Maserati saga.
In a statement, Minister Niningi described Opposition’s planned nationwide stop work, as misuse of constitutional mandates.
He urged members of the Opposition to consult relevant authorities and register their complaints of the purchasing of the 40 Italian Maseratis including other APEC expenses.
The Higher Education Minister urged public servants to be responsible and attend to work.
Niningi affirmed the O’Neill- Abel led Government’s commitment in delivering a successful 2018 APEC come November.
