Nine Papua New Guineans have been awarded Australian Leadership Scholarships to study in Australia.
Three women and six men will be studying education, health, the environment, governance, infrastructure, management and development.
Australia High Commissioner to PNG Ian Kemish said their studies will contribute to the development of PNG.
He also said AusAID and the PNG Government are working together to target PNG’s priorities under the PNG Development Strategic Plan 2010-2030.
