Nike has officially launched its new back to the future shoes, a rather futuristic development.
Like other older versions of the shoes, this new development – the self-lacing shoe is called Mike Mag Sneakers.
The self-lacing shoe features the Michael J.Fox character from the 1989 movie ‘Back to the Future II’.
With extensive research, the development of this self-lacing shoe has been possible and Nike President and CEO, Mark Parker, commented saying “we started creating something for fiction and we turned it into fact, inventing a new technology that will benefit all athletes.”
The first owner of a pair of this new Nike self-lacing shoe will be Marty McFly himself, Michael J. Fox.
The new sneakers will bring a new level of hope for athletes across the globe.
Having a self-lacing technology, the shoe will have a well-balanced athletic awareness, an individual system that will sense the wearer’s motion and provide adaptive on-demand comfort and support for the wearer, as it aims to make it more comfortable to wear.
