New Vehicles for Bomana Police College

Christmas for police inthe Moresby North-East Electorate came with many blessings. They received two new vehicles to supportthe Bemana Police Training College administration, and on top this off, K100, 000 to cover rental fees for the trainees.

Member for Moresby North-East and Vice Minister for SportoLabi Amaiu, presentedthe gifts recently.

 

The two vehicles, worth K150, 000 each, were donated to supportthe College administration. It was sourced fromthe District Services Improverment Fund. On top of this, Mr Amaiu presented K100, 000 to settle rental fees for the 24 new police recruits. As such,the Member urgedthe owners to usethe vehicles wisely.

 

NCD Divisional Police Commander Jim Andrews was grateful for the donation asthey have asked business houses to assist but no one was willing to help.

 

Police in Moresby North East Electorate will also part –take inthe Urbanisation or Reform Program in 2014 where Mr Amaiu has committed K1 million to build a new police barracks inthe Electorate.
