PNG Netball will send an Under-21 side totheWorld Netball Youth Championships in Glasgow, Scotland in August.
PNG will be part ofthe Oceania group with New Zealand, Fiji and Samoa. Some twenty countries are expected to take part inthe championships.
PNG Netball has received an invitation fromtheInternational Netball Federation to attendthe Under 21World Youth Championships.
The invitation has come about as a result of a withdrawal by anther country fromthe tournament whilPNG has been onthe reserve listing up untilthe 19th of February.
PNG attendedthe lastWorld youth championships inthe Cook Islands in 2009 and finished 16 out of 26 countries.
Training squad members inthe nation’s capital attended a session overthe weekend atthe Rita Flynn Courts.
