Teachers Fail to Submit Important Documents

Up to 403 new graduate teachers in the country have failed to submit required important documents for their eligibility in the payroll system.

This was revealed by the National Acting Education Secretary, Dr Uke Kombra, saying that all necessary documents must now be submitted to the payroll division.

The call follows the circular 17/2016 of May 31st sent to all the provincial authorities and is specifically for these teacher graduates to submit the following documents:

• Copies of qualification

• Teacher registration certificate

• Duly completed teacher record of appointments; and

Grade 10/12 certificates.

Dr Kombra emphasised they need to be on the payroll and the documents must be received by the payroll division this month.

In addition, new commencement of teachers who have graduated from other universities and teaching and meeting requirements are also requested to submit the appropriate documents if they have not been receiving their salaries.

Lists of these new graduate teachers not on the payroll were sent to appropriate schools and provincial authorities at the beginning of June.

Dr Kombra has called on all provincial education advisers, teachers in-charge, head teachers, managers and principals of the elementary, primary and secondary schools and vocational centers to forward their new graduate teachers’ relevant documents to the.
