NCD Names AFL Team For PNG Games

With less than three months to prepare for the biggest national sporting event in the country, team NCD have named both their Men’s and Women’s AFL teams for the 6th BSP PNG Games to be held in Lae.

The squad consists of players currently competing in the Port Moresby AFL Competition.


AFL is one of the sporting codes included in this year’s BSP PNG Games.


Team NCD is one of three provincial teams that have met the requirements, and have named their Men’s and Women’s 36 member team for the 6th BSP PNG Games.


The respective teams will comprise of players competing in the Port Moresby Esiloan AFL competition.


Hoping to make her come back and selection into the Flames, young Taiva Lavai is sure to utilize her speed and utility around the ruck.


Boosting the squad with her football linage, experienced Connie Yogomin has also been named and hopes to guide the young side.


It will be family affair, as Peter Yogomin has also been named in the Men’s squad.


With the experience of the Binatangs and Mosquitos prospects, Ben Tirang and Peter Lavong, the squad will be facing tougher opposition from Lae and West New Britain.
