NCD Governor Donates Bus to Hagara Primary School

by Yvonne Kambibel – EM TV News, Port Moresby

NCD Governor Powes Parkop said with the bus in place, teaching and learning options for students will become a lot easier.

He continued by saying that students are now able to visit places in the city that can increase their knowledge in politics, history and more.

Zone 1 Standard Officer Georgina Wappar thanked the governor for his kind donation. She said such a donation is a blessing and must be well looked after by those that will benefit.

Head teacher, KJ Kimali, gave her assurance that Hagara Primary School will take good care of the bus.

Governor Parkop before leaving the school reminded teachers, students and those gathered that the Pacific Games are just days away, therefore, they should support and welcome the games with pride as citizens of the host nation.

The new 25-seater bus was funded under the governor’s Provincial Services Improvement Program.
