National Gaming Control Board Aids Nawaeb District

By Jack Lapauve Jr, EMTV – Port Moresby

Nawaeb District in Morobe Province is the recent recipient of the support in delivering goods and services by the National Gaming Control Board (NGCB).

NGCB supported the District in purchasing an ambulance and the building of a double classroom for Situm Primary School.

Nawaeb MP, Kennedy Wenge, says the assistance is an Easter blessing for the District.

The aid included K200,000 for the building of a double classroom at Situm Primary School and the purchase of an ambulance.

Both costs nearly K320,000.

Nawaeb is one of the remote areas of Morobe Province. The sitting MP says health and education services are still lacking and both sectors are vital for Nawaeb.

The ambulance will help transport patients and assist operations of rural health facilities in the District.

Earlier this week, NGCB also assisted Markham District with classrooms, and staff houses.
