The new tuna factory will be built in the Morobe province in early 2016.

This project will provide approximately 2,000 direct jobs and 4,000 indirect jobs.

This will be the sixth tuna processing project to be built in Lae. Dongwon tuna project will commence in the first quarter of 2016.

Dongwon Industries is one of the world’s largest tuna catching companies.
