Morobe Governor, Kelly Naru, saidthe Lae roads issue is not being treated withthe urgency it deserves.
“The authorities concerned are just not doing enough andthey’re not tacklingthe problem withthe urgency withthe need to urgently address that,” said Naru.
“This issue is not been giventhe urgency that it deserves,” Naru added.
Naru’s comment comes days after successive visits to Lae by Works Minister, Francis Awesa andthe Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill.
Governor Naru has called onthe works department and contractors to speed up completion of road sections inthe City.
