Namah slams O’Neill

Vanimo Green MP Belden Namah has slammed caretaker Prime Minister Peter O’Neill for predicting too early that he will form the next government.

Mr. Namah’says having the highest number in a party does not necessarily give O’Neill the mandate.

Vanimo green MP Belden Namah has called on all MP’s to reconsider their support for Peter O’Neill to form the next government.

Mr. Namah’says, the Supreme Court’s decision in 2008 on the OLLIPAC stands, and all MP’s have the right to move freely and form alliance and not to be restricted to their Party.

PNG Party he says will not support the People National Congress party and will be seeking legal clarification on the OLLIPAC.

Mr. Namah also questioned whether the governor general still has the right to invite the popular party to form the next government.

Mr. Namah is certain he will have the numbers to make him the next Prime Minister and urged coalition partners to be weary Peter O’neill.
