Namah’s Action Unlawful

A lawyer has condemned the actions of Member for Vanimo Green, Belden Namah when he stormed into the Court House to arrest the country’s Chief Justice last week as “unlawful” and “improper”.

As a concerned citizen and a lawyer of the country Goiye Gileng from Posman Kua Aisi Lawyers said he will not accept the actions of Mr Belden Namah on that fateful Thursday.

Mr Gileng said the proper and lawful way for Mr Namah to react on the Supreme Court decision could have been through an appeal or review as he is entitled to under the Constitution.

And for the police and military to take orders from him to conduct the arrest is also “illegal”.
