My Big Fat Greek Wedding Gets Part 2

My Big Fat Greek wedding was released in 2002, and perhaps not many people can say they haven’t watched it, starring Nia Vardalos and John Corbett, as it has aired on EM TV a good number of times.

Movie news is Vardalos and Corbett are back together on set once more.

The co-stars stopped to take a selfie while on the set of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 on Friday, June 26 and Corbett, 54, was kind enough to celebrate the occasion with his shirt off.

“Is someone trying to get baptized again in #MyBigFatGreekWedding2?”,Vardalos captioned her giddy photo with her co-star as they were preparing to film in the very familiar Portokalos restaurant.

It’s been 13 years since the flick My Big Fat Greek Wedding came out with Vardalos and Corbett playing Toula Portokalos and Ian Miller respectively.

The flick became one of the biggest selling Rom-Com’s of all time making US$350million with only a cost of $6 million. It was May last year when they announced that a sequel for it was coming.

“Now that I’m experiencing motherhood, I’m ready to write the next chapter of my family story,” Vardalos said in a statement at the time.

She teased: “Of course, a few jaded folks in the press corps will claim I ran out of money or just want to kiss John Corbett again. One of these things is true.”

According to US Magazine, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is set to hit the theatres by March 2016.
