The West New Beitain Provincial Government has allocated 2.7 million kina in its 2013 budget for education of its students’underthe Tertiary Education Scholarship Assistance Scheme.
cheque of K52, 000.00 was given to students’attendingthe Pacific Adventist University.
Deputy Administrator – Corporate Services, Williamson Hosea, voiced thatthe TESAS component will continue for students’with high GPAs. Each student will receive K2, 500 as subsidy.
So far 14 tertiary institutions inthe Southern Region have been funded with UPNG receivingthe mostodue to a high intake of students’
Governor Muthuvel is scheduled to visit UOG, Hagen Technical and Divine Word University next week.
