Murray Barracks hosts Kairuku Hiri counting

Counting for Kairuku Hiri Electorate will begin on Monday at Murray Barracks.

This was announced by Returning Officer Edward Kila when witnessing the arrival of 25 ballot boxes from Bereina yesterday morning.

Also there to ensure all was in good order was the Provincial Police Commander John Maru.

The ballot boxes will be kept at Town Police Station over the weekend then on Sunday and will be transported to Murray Barracks which is the counting venue for Kairuku Hiri.
