Morobe Hammerheads are Reigning Champions

The Stallions drew first blood in the first few seconds of the starting half spotting a gap in the Hammerheads defence.

A Stallions try came as a wakeup call for the defending champions, as they struck back few minutes later after a stallions player was sin binned for a delay in play.

This now saw the score levelled at 7 points each. Stallions struggled to contain the Hammerheads with one man short. This then would see Morobe go over for their second of the afternoon.

The Stallions were not going down without a fight as they managed to score right on halftime, with a miss conversion kick, leaving the scores at 14-12 at half time.

A minute into the second half Morobe came in strong with a try to further their lead a successful conversion kick saw the scores at 21 points to 12.

Just like the first half, Stallions were not going down that easily with a try three minutes before full time and a missed conversion kick.

But the reigning premiers would have the last say with a solo try in the corner right on full time.
