Morobe Administrator Addresses Council Public Servants

The Acting Provincial Administrator for Morobe, Sheila Pati Harou, today addressed the public servants working for Lae City Council Office.

The message was to bring order and discipline into the public servants in order to serve the need and interest of the public.

Harou said this will drive the public servants to deliver goods and services to the people.

Addressing a room full of public servants working for Lae City Council today, the Acting Administrator called for discipline and order.

Harou highlighted seven points public servants should consider which include time management, roles of a public servant and the oath signed to serve as a public servant.

The Acting Provincial Administrator for Morobe has given out a list of instructions to all public servants from the Provincial level to the Local Level Government.

According to the National 2017 Budget, the function grants for Morobe has been cut off close to K8 million.

Harou said all government levels should work within the appropriation act for the year in order to deliver proper government services to the people.
