One of Nicki Minaj’s Backup dancers has been bitten by an Anaconda on stage during their MTV’s Video Music Awards Rehearsal, TMZ reports.
According to TMZ, Nicki Minaj was doing a run through for her ’Anaconda’ performance at MTV’s VMA’s on Sunday when her dancer was bitten by the reptile.
The unidentified female dancer was rushed to the hospital and is being treated.
Although the 6-foot long reptile is non-venomous, it can still transmit bacteria and cause serious infections.
The anaconda was reportedly packed in a container and removed from the stage.
Sources say it is unclear whether Nicki Minaj will still feature the actual Anaconda on her Sunday’s performance.
If VMA’s fans can recall, last time a VMA performer took a snake to stage was Pop Singer Britney Spears.
During Britney Spears’ ‘I’m a Slave U’ performance in 2001, she had a lovely yellow python around her neck.
