Miley and Britney Banned from French Daytime TV

The one thing Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears have in Common is their undeniably explicit music videos. The two American female pop stars have out-done themselves once again as their music videos have been blacklisted for day-time French TV.

According to The Associated Press, a statement from broadcast watchdog CSA instructs Television channels not to air “Miley’s Wrecking Ball” and “Britney’s Work B***h” before 10pm as they are inappropriate for the younger audiences.

France Watchdog added, due to the content of the videos, they should only be aired together with the rest of the adult rated material, after 10pm that is.

Miley has been causing a lot of Media Outrage since her transition into the crazed up teenage girl exposing her body to the Public Media.

Her video “Wrecking Ball” with nudity and seductive moves displayed became the most viewed video on you-tube. Miley is swinging on a demolition ball and even goes onto lick the sledge hammer.  It has had about 475 million views.

Britney’s Video “Work B***h”, released in October has had more than 70 million hits but the content is almost all the same. Britney and her dancers in S & M bondage gear with Britney whipping her dancers.

According to the broadcast watchdog, Britney’s promo portrays “a sadomasochistic universe representing women in a way that risks shocking many viewers”.

Despite millions of hits and views, TV is still out to protect its minors. There is just too much exposure in these videos.
