Micro Finance Launch

According to the Principal of Wesley Secondary School, Japheth Garison, teacher mobility in classrooms is being hampered by the increase in desks and room to accommodate rising student numbers.

Mr. Garison further stated that the TFF Policy has increased the number of students into his school and sees that the policy is a good thing.

He added that since the policy was introduced, many students are coming to school; however, he stated that since the school is a boarding school, which caters for all students from grades 9 to 12, food rations have to be limited, since the number of students has increased as well.

Mr. Garison added that the current student teacher ratio at his school is very high.

He was also thankful of the national government for the policy, although, he puts pressure on the existing facilities that the school has.

Mr. Garison further stated that although the school is run by the United Church, they have very little inputs since the establishment of the school, blaming the limitation of church resources.

He said however, they support the school when they cry out to them when their major needs need to be met.
