A major police operation will be mounted inthe Yangoru-Saussia District of East Sepik Province inthe next two months to crack down on lawlessness.
Local Member and Minister for Trade Commerce andIndustry Richard Maru’said counterpart funding of hundred and fifty thousand kina will be provided for this special operation.
Minister Maru’said policemen will be in operation to ensure those who have been involved in criminal activities are apprehended, charged and imprisoned.
Maru wants law and order restored as major developments will take place inthe coming years.
