Locals Want Cult Leader Arrested

More than twenty people including five women have called on Tabubil police to arrest lLeadersof a cult group, alleged to have been involved in beatings, rapes and murders of former group members.

They have compiled statements detailing howthe cult leader, from Olsobip inthe Western, coerced married and unmarried women into having sex with him for rewards inthe afterlife.

The cult leader also claimed supernatural powers to resurrectthe dead. 

According tothe statements, senior cult members also beat and tortured cult members who threatened to defect.

The former cult members saythey will seek legal action against government and private sector workers who are also involved inthe cult.
